Rifra have a very comprehensive portfolio
of Flame Retardant Masterbatches covering
every possible application, process and polymer.
These grades are available in a range of concentrations to suit particular applications, and are available for coloured film formulations.
Flame retardant additives used include halogen free, deca-bromo free and
non-blooming. Special formulations are available for engineering resins,
which give good tracking index (CTI)
Various UL 94 ratings apply and yellow card certification support is available
on many grades.
Transparent additives are offered for Polycarbonate and custom grades for
glass re-enforced polyamide
The Rifratene Colorant range is virtually unlimited
including special blacks and whites and formulations are available for most
polymers and all processes. A large range of standard film colours is offered,
in addition to custom colour matches.
The Rifracomplex range may contain multi blends
of several additive agents together or without colour formulations.
Very high concentration Masterbatches are a Rifra speciality which offers
low let down ratios in processing and thus reduces costs whilst optimising
quality and performance.
