As part of the total Elastron portfolio of TPE’s, Elastron Kimya also produce a complimentary range of Polyolefin based TPO’s.
Marketed under the brand Elastron TPO, these products are not true thermoplastic elastomers but are classical PP or other polyolefin blends where an elastomeric phase is added as an impact modifier to enhance mechanical performance. The elastomer phase is not vulcanised as is the case with a TPV ( Elastron V). These materials have only modest compression set values but are cost effective alternatives in specific application in automotive an appliances. Temperature resistance is limited to 100 degrees C
Elastron TPO is available in a Shore range 80A to 65D
